How do I make a booking for camps?

Does my child have to attend the service to attend?

No, we take in children from outside our service and friends often like to attend together!

Preschool children must be toilet trained to attend camp as we don't accept children in nappies or pull ups.

Do I need to pay in advance for camps?

Yes, camps should be paid for when booking them as places are limited.

 

What happens if it rains?

We are lucky that we have a large sports hall to use if it’s raining. We are also used to planning indoor activities if we can’t get outside. The preschool aged children have welly boots and rain gear to use if needed.

 

Can I book a mixture of part and full days?

Yes, we are usually very flexible with our options of hours. Please contact us and we will talk through the options with you.

 

What do children bring with them?

Children need to bring a labelled change of clothes in a school bag. They also need to bring an inhaler or any medication that they may need to take. All must be labelled. (to be given to the teachers). During summer campo please give your child suncream and a hat in their bag

 

What time do the children need to arrive at?

Children should arrive at 9.30am unless booked in for early drops at 8am.

 

What should the children wear to camp?

Children should wear comfy clothing. They may get dirty so please do not send them in in “good” clothes.

 

Do the children need to bring food?

No, we provide a healthy menu for the children during camp weeks.

 

Are nuts allowed to be eaten at the camp?

No, we are a no nut school due to allergies! No nut products such as peanut butter, bars, etc.

 

Can my child attend if unwell?

We ask that children who are unwell do not attend camp. If your child has had temperature-reducing medication in the morning please keep your child at home.

 

 

What happens if my child has an injury?

We have a fully trained FAR first aider on-site at all times, all other staff have paediatric first aid. We deal with accidents every day and you will get a copy of an accident report should an accident occur.
