Each class has a Teddy which goes to a different child’s home every week. The children really enjoy taking care of the teddy and bringing it out on adventures. Parents are asked to take some photos of their child’s time with the teddy and to put them in to the scrapbook that goes home with it. The child then brings the teddy and scrapbook back in to school and tells their friends all about what they did.

We know how beneficial it is for children to have access to animals. In our preschool we have two rabbits, Beans & Toast, a goldfish called Sandy and a dog called Sam who visits on a Wednesday.
