Eve Berea - Owner / Manager
I grew up in Blackrock and I am married with 2 children. I enjoy cooking, arts & crafts and the odd bit of bargain hunting in my freetime.
After leaving school I worked in the retail sector in various managerial positions for 6 years but felt that it wasn’t the right career for me.
I decided to retrain as a Montessori teacher in 2003 having worked for many families with young children over the years and really enjoying it.
I completed a B.A. in Humanities in Montessori Education in St. Nicholas Montessori College in 2006. I have also undertaken various Special Needs training courses over the past few years.
I am Garda Vetted and First Aid trained also.
Since graduating, I have worked in Montessori schools, Primary schools, an International school, and as a Special Needs teacher.
I decided to open Ballybrack/Killiney Montessori Preschool in 2014 as I had always dreamt of opening my own school. I love teaching the younger age group and seeing them grow and learn new things each day.

Hi, my name is Jill and I am mum to two young girls. I've been a Montessori teacher for twelve years and I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Humanities in Montessori Education from St. Nicholas Montessori College. I absolutely love working with children, and I love meeting all the new little faces each September. My favourite activities to do with the children are teaching them new songs and rhymes, having a good old disco and generally just having fun- that's what learning should be all about!

Hi, my name is Sophie. I live locally and I'm the eldest of a family of six. Growing up I've always loved children and I started babysitting for a few families near me. I then decided to study for my level 5 and 6 in BIFE. I love how different every day is when working with children and seeing them develop and learn is very rewarding. Tina - Montessori Teacher
My name is Tina, I’m a Mum to two children aged 10 and 12. At home and in school, I’m fully involved in the world of childhood! I have a Higher Diploma in Arts in Montessori Education from St Nicholas Montessori College and this year I attained Fetac Level 5 Special Needs Assisting and Children with Additional Needs.
I previously worked as a Flight Attendant for many years and have a passion for travel so I love Geography and exploring world geography with the children through the lovely Montessori materials in the classroom. I also love children’s literature and a dream of mine would be to write a children’s book someday and even get it published!
Working with children is amazing, watching them absorb new information and sensations as they develop and learn is fascinating, so rewarding and lots of fun. I particularly love watching imaginary play and getting involved myself! My interests include walks on the beach, nature, gardening, drama (was previously involved in an amateur dramatic society), singing, music, vintage jewellery and clothes.
Fiona B - Montessori Teacher
My name is Fiona. I am a mum of two children, aged 10 and 14. For 9 years I worked as a home-based childminder, catering for children aged 6 months to 10 years. Prior to this, I was a manager at ELI (Early Language intervention). This was a pre-school which catered for children with a language delay. I am fluent in sign language with experience in Pecs and ABA. For me, the benefits of working in the childcare sector is endless, but the most enjoyable part is being able to cherish and nurture each child’s capabilities while continuing to promote their overall development. In my spare time, I enjoy going for a long run and have completed two marathons. I also enjoy walking my dog, swimming and occasionally cake decorating!! I have a Fetac Level 5 in Childcare and Level 6 in Special Needs.

I have been teaching for 20 years and have worked with children ranging from 2 to 12 years of age.
I love working with children, I love teaching them new things and watching them learn and grow. I love working with each individual child and discovering what captures their imagination and I especially love doing art and cooking.

I am a volunteer group leader with the national youth group Foroige. Hi, I’m Mandy I am a mother to three girls 12, 15 and 33 years and have recently become grandmother to a grandson.
I grew up in the area and live locally. I have always had a background in the catering industry and worked for many years managing a busy coffee shop called the world Café in Dun
Laoghaire. Where we had a regular stream of friendly loyal customers. But I’ve always had a passion for learning new things and continue to challenge myself on different levels over the years. In 2019 just before the lock down I enrolled in Blackrock further education decided to take up a level QQI level 5 course on creative writing and digital publishing. The studying progressed from there. I have completed a QQI Level 5 in Conflict resolutions, psychology, and QQI level 5 in social studies. Also, in 2021 completed QQI level 5 in Human growth and development and Creative Art in Early childcare and (SNA) special needs assistant. I have lots of experiences working with children. Which changed my direction on a new path. I enjoy working with children and watching as they develop their own little personalities and letting their creativity run free building on their confidence. My favourite things to do are cooking, Dancing, Art and crafts, gardening and being out in nature and being creative.
Hi, I'm Ciara, I'm delighted to be joining the team. I have over 15 years experience working in the childcare and Early Education sector. I've worked with ages 3 months right up to teenagers but my favourite age group to work with is 2-4 years of age. I have extensive experience and training in Early Years Education, Special Needs and Montessori both in Ireland and other parts of the world.
